Electronic Billing Rate Coordinator – Legal Accounting Operations (Law Firm experience a must) Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 Must have the following: Electronic billing experience, legal industry billing systems, LEDES formats, e-billing vendor platforms, Aderant or similar billing software, client accounting support, rate submission coordination, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, law firm or professional services experience. Responsibilities: Coordinate monthly electronic billing rate submissions and ensure timely approvals from clients. Monitor submitted billing rates, troubleshoot issues, and resolve rejections or discrepancies. Work closely with billing teams, partners, and clients to ensure accurate electronic billing compliance. Support e-billing client setup processes, including timekeeper data and authorization uploads. Ensure billing rates align with client agreements and Outside Counsel Guidelines. Serve as a point of contact for questions related to e-billing rate operations and submissions. Assist with ongoing electronic billing projects and process improvements. Maintain strong working relationships with e-billing vendors and internal accounting teams. Support operational efficiency initiatives within client accounting and billing functions. Stay current on electronic billing standards, systems, and legal industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of electronic billing or billing rate experience within a professional services or legal environment. Experience with Aderant Expert or similar legal billing/accounting platforms. Familiarity with LEDES billing formats and electronic billing vendor portals. Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
