Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.

• Complete and maintain accurate documentation in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate mental health conditions as directed by the clinical team.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute positive behavior support plans that enhance client outcomes.

• Engage in licensing and accreditation processes, actively participating ensures the quality and compliance of our services.

• Serve as a liaison to various stakeholders, including state agencies and community partners, to coordinate care and improve the resources available to clients.

• Foster open communication channels to uphold contract standards and promote our mission within the community.

• Develop relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to secure new partnerships and funding, thereby expanding our service offerings.

• Pursue ongoing professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and other relevant activities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the collective mission of enhancing mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMHC will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with emotional distress, those recovering from substance use issues, clients with developmental disabilities, and patients experiencing the effects of acquired brain injuries. Your role will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their challenges, fostering resilience, and promoting healing through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Valid independent LMHC License issued by the state board of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
