Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and review medical histories to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging studies, to aid in the diagnosis and management of acute health issues.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries, ensuring timely care and appropriate referrals when necessary.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans for chronic diseases, regularly assessing patient progress and modifying plans as needed.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutics, monitoring their effectiveness closely to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitation of continuity of care.
• Engage patients and their families in educational discussions regarding disease prevention, health management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Incorporate preventative healthcare strategies into patient interactions, promoting wellness and healthy living.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and collaboration with peers to stay current with best practices in urgent care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will primarily serve patients seeking immediate care for acute medical conditions ranging from minor injuries to urgent health concerns. Our patient demographic includes a wide age range, ensuring the PA will have the opportunity to work with children, adults, and elderly patients alike. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program and a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) is required, along with a DEA number.

Compensation and Benefits
