Work Environment

This position is primarily on-site at our advanced surgical center, equipped with the latest medical technologies and resources necessary for effective urgent care. The Physician Assistant will work from Monday to Friday, focusing on shifts starting at 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and assemble detailed medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic procedures such as blood tests and imaging studies, ensuring timely results contribute to effective treatment decisions.
• Diagnose and manage acute health conditions, treating diverse cases from minor injuries to complex illnesses, often under tight time constraints.
• Collaborate with attending physicians to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans for chronic and urgent health issues.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses, adjusting treatment as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Maintain compliant and organized medical records, ensuring accuracy in patient documentation and following regulatory standards.
• Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies, particularly around prevalent community health issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
