Work Environment

The work setting at our Urgent Care Clinic operates onsite in a state-of-the-art hospital facility located in the heart of Tallahassee. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 5:00 PM, encompassing a balanced work schedule of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams and take detailed patient histories to assess health conditions.
• Order, interpret, and explain diagnostic tests—such as X-rays and laboratory results—to patients.
• Diagnose and treat a range of acute illnesses and minor injuries that present to the clinic.
• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans, adapting as necessary for patients with chronic conditions.
• Prescribe necessary medications while closely monitoring their effectiveness.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and care documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, preventive health measures, and treatment paths.
• Foster good health practices through wellness checks and patient follow-ups, improving patient outcomes.
