Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, duration, and frequency.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and best practices for self-care.

• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed therapist at Old Town Behavioral Health Services, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing diverse mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also play a vital role in supporting vulnerable populations, including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your work will directly contribute to their emotional resilience and overall mental health recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
