Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders to understand their symptoms' severity, duration, and impact on their daily lives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting therapeutic goals tailored to each person's unique circumstances and aspirations.

• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing their symptoms.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices that foster resilience and recovery.

• Ensure continuous monitoring of client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on individual responses and needs throughout the therapeutic process.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create cohesive treatment plans that enhance the holistic care of our clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research regarding mood disorder treatments and incorporate new findings into practice to improve patient outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans to meet legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential for this position.
