This full-time position offers a blend of telehealth and face-to-face sessions at our community health clinic in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. This remote position allows mental health professionals to work within a supportive and dynamic environment. Our clinic operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, offering flexibility to create a schedule that works best for both you and your clients. You will have the autonomy to manage your caseload while enjoying a collaborative atmosphere supported by a team that prioritizes professional development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and establish effective treatment plans.

• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.
\n
• Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that guide patients in processing trauma, acquiring coping strategies, and fostering healing.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Providing timely crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging in case consultations and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care.

• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing a variety of trauma-related disorders. We welcome candidates who are also willing to provide services to couples; we offer comprehensive training for those who may be new to this format. By focusing on a trauma-informed lens, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their journeys toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value a strong character, integrity, and a passion for quality care that can surpass specific experience levels. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, you will receive:
