The Woman's Counseling Center in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote telehealth capacity. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that are responsive to the unique needs of each client.

• Provide crisis intervention, including pre-crisis and crisis planning and behavioral guidelines, while utilizing evidence-based practices.
\n
• Document all sessions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards and ensure timely completion of all required documentation.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that optimize client well-being.
\n
• Engage in ongoing licensing and accreditation processes to uphold organizational standards.
\n
• Network with local, state, and federal agencies to strengthen community partnerships that enhance service delivery.
\n
• Facilitate open communication with clients and community partners, aiming to meet contract standards and promote the center’s mission within the local community.
\n
• Participate in professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and contributing to statewide committees that focus on mental health initiatives.

• Embrace and promote the core mission and values of the Woman's Counseling Center in all interactions.
\n
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director tailored to the operational needs of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our center, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds and experiences, requiring a blend of empathy, understanding, and clinical expertise to promote their mental health and recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field is required.

• An independent LMHC license is mandatory, along with a strong commitment to ethical counseling practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth or remote counseling practices is advantageous but not required.

• Prior work with diverse populations in a mental health or substance use recovery context is preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based screening tools and intervention methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
