Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to ascertain the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients through structured interviews and standardized measurements.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning goals with their aspirations while addressing specific challenges and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate improved emotional regulation and coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to empower them throughout their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor client progress and effectiveness of treatment, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes and address any emerging issues.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate a multidisciplinary approach to client care.

• Remain informed on the latest research in the field of mental health, particularly regarding mood disorders, to apply best practices in your interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans to uphold ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders and related challenges. Your role will involve creating a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and challenges while working diligently to develop effective treatment strategies tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
