Customer Service Representative

Akkodis is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a Contract job with a client in Wayne, NJ . The ideal candidate will have experience supporting customers in a technical environment, managing equipment logistics, and providing exceptional customer service.

Rate Range: $27/hour to $30/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Customer Service Representative job responsibilities include:

• Provide customer and sales channel support for demo, rental, and loaner camera programs.
• Manage demo and loaner equipment inventory, tracking, logistics, shipping, and returns.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers requiring technical and operational support.
• Coordinate with sales, service, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
• Support aftermarket sales opportunities and proactive customer engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate customer, inventory, and service records within Service Cloud and ERP systems.
• Assist with equipment scheduling, availability management, and rental program administration.
• Communicate product information, support updates, and service solutions in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Participate in service improvement projects and support process enhancement initiatives.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service levels and meeting business objectives.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in:
  
  • Customer Service, Technical Customer Support, Sales Support, Equipment Management, Inventory Coordination
• Experience supporting technical products and end users within a customer-facing environment.
• Proficiency with:
  
  • Salesforce Service Cloud, ERP Systems, Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting technical imaging, camera, electronics, or technology-based products.
• Experience working in cross-functional and global business environments.
• Familiarity with rental equipment, demo programs, inventory logistics, or asset management.
• Experience managing projects and process improvement initiatives.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
