Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, enabling you to work from home while providing essential support to clients across various locations. While the primary mode of interaction will be through virtual platforms, you will also have opportunities to engage with clients in our outpatient office setting in Simi Valley, California, when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, both individually and in group settings, to help clients explore their emotions and progress in their therapeutic journey.

• Continuously evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with clients to empower them in taking ownership of their mental health and well-being, using evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will include individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges. This may include those dealing with relational conflicts, trauma, addiction, and behavioral concerns. You will take a holistic approach to treatment, ensuring clients feel understood and supported throughout their journey to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling or similar therapeutic approaches.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

• Excellent therapeutic skills, including the ability to effectively motivate and engage clients in their treatment process.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have at least three years of experience working in a clinical setting, demonstrating a proven track record of successful patient outcomes. Experience with integrated care or interdisciplinary collaboration is a plus, as it aligns with our holistic approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
