Description - What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests including, but not limited to, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure the integrity of results by performing analyses, troubleshooting discrepancies, and carrying out maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with the gathering of specimens and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Meticulously document all procedures, provide training for new staff or interns, and assist in managing laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a pristine, secure work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Keep certifications current throughout your tenure.
