About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in advancing its strategic priorities, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and leading critical human resources and culture initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the company's vision into action, coordinating enterprise-wide planning, and ensuring accountability for major initiatives. This role requires exceptional judgment, diplomacy, and the ability to work with sensitive information. The Chief of Staff will also be a key connector among the executive team, Board of Directors, staff, and external stakeholders, and will be instrumental in driving alignment and execution across teams. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years' of leadership experience. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in leading complex cross-functional initiatives, supporting senior executives, and possessing strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills. Experience in nonprofit, public media, journalism, higher education, or civic organizations is preferred. The Chief of Staff will be expected to build strong partnerships, lead professional development, and create clarity and momentum around key organizational priorities. The position also involves overseeing human resources processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and supporting initiatives that enhance the employee experience and organizational culture.
