Supervisory Organization Dept Rehabilitation Services–MSD - Central/Dept Servs Employment Information Full time • Regular • Monthly salary: $5,498.67 • Annual salary: $65,984.04 Basic Purpose Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities involving management, coordination, or direction of a major phase of a comprehensive or specialized operating program, providing staff services in various management areas, and performing highly technical managerial or administrative support duties for executive level positions. Typical Functions Plan, organize, and/or direct a component of an agency or institutional program or a major division, program, or function established to accomplish a basic goal or mission of the agency. Interpret and advise agency personnel and the general public on departmental rules, regulations and laws governing the operation of the agency, division or department program. Prepare administrative, statistical, and/or fiscal documents pertaining to departmental activity. Provide supervision or direction to assigned staff in planning, promoting, and implementing programs in accordance with agency policies and goals. Advise on future resource requirements, priorities for programs and activities; estimate timetables for accomplishing assigned activities; develop policies, rules, and regulations consistent with state and federal laws pertaining to the administration of programs. Plan, develop and conduct training, seminars, meetings, or clinics as required; represent the agency at meetings, seminars, and conferences. Draft policies and procedures and develop contract or grant proposals. Review proposed legislation and recommend changes; may act as legislative liaison. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and four years of professional experience in business or public administration, including one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity. No substitution allowed for the required supervisory or administrative experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies Knowledge of organization and management methods; public administration; agency policies and procedures; grant or contract program requirements; legislative process; basic research and statistical techniques; federal and state laws and regulations relating to program administration; supervisory principles and practices. Ability to establish effective working relationships, communicate effectively in writing and orally, develop training programs, exercise good judgment, organize and present facts and opinions, plan and review work of others, analyze complex situations, and coordinate organizational units. Special Requirements Proficiency with PeopleSoft Financials, SharePoint, and Docusign CLM. Must be willing and able to perform all job‑related travel. Essential Functions Work with field staff in the creation and implementation of client service and professional services contracts following federal and state regulations. Duties include creating and implementing contracts, processing requisitions and purchase orders, assisting field staff as necessary, maintaining the Contracts Log in SharePoint, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Develop policies and procedures and serve as liaison between the agency and outside stakeholders. Background Check Criminal background check will be conducted as part of an offer of employment.
