Key Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
• Demonstrated experience working in special education, preferably in a center-based or similar classroom environment
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, colleagues, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
• Skilled in creating and adapting individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to the needs of students with developmental cognitive disabilities
• Implement IEPs and evaluate student progress
• Cultivate a positive, structured environment for academic, social, and emotional growth
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to support student goals
• Contribute to ongoing classroom management and compliance with relevant policies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
