This onsite, contract position is designed as a backfill assignment extending through May 28, 2027. Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (required)
• Demonstrated experience teaching in a center-based classroom, preferably within high school settings
• Strong understanding of and commitment to individualized educational programming
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in a structured classroom environment for students with cognitive disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Monitor student progress, adapting instructional methods as needed to promote success
• Partner with support staff, therapists, and administration to ensure best outcomes for every learner
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages growth and skill development
