Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implement and monitor exercise programs aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, and overall function, adjusting treatments as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization to facilitate recovery and reduce pain.
• Engage patients in educational discussions about their conditions, helping them understand their rehabilitation process and encouraging active participation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including those with sports-related conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program endorsed by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization are essential.
• Strong proficiency in assessments and evaluations, especially within a direct access healthcare model.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
