Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including mobility assessments and functional limitations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring movement and alleviating pain, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Employ hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and evidence-based modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, as part of the treatment regimen.
• Provide education to patients regarding injury prevention strategies, proper movement mechanics, and personalized exercise programs for at-home use.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with orthopedic specialists, physicians, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Regularly document patient progress in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in orthopedic physical therapy to continually enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse range of patients, from young athletes to senior adults, ensuring everyone receives tailored care that aligns with their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and providing patient education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic environment, but new graduates with relevant clinical internships are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Understanding of current evidence-based practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
