Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Heritage Behavioral Health, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on effective communication and resolving conflicts.

• Creating personalized treatment plans that address unique familial dynamics and individual challenges.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as alcohol abuse, psychological trauma, grief and loss, and conflict amongst family members.

• Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational standards and state regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
\n
• Providing community resources and referrals to patients when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents facing a wide array of mental health issues. You will specialize in addressing family dynamics and working with blended families, providing therapeutic support for challenges arising from separation, divorce, and interfamily conflicts. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients navigate their emotional landscapes and improve their relationships.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and active LMFT license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
