Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients’ needs, establish treatment goals, and tailor therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care that addresses clients' comprehensive needs.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring clients remain safe and supported during distressful moments.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, coping methods, community resources, and strategies for sustained recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards to support treatment accountability and continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing challenges related to substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients through various stages of recovery, including those experiencing acute crisis situations as well as long-term recovery processes. Effective engagement, empathy, and cultural competence will be essential in providing client-centered care.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology, from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated understanding of substance use disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, particularly within addiction treatment settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between $80,000 to $100,000 annually, supplemented by performance-based bonuses. Additionally, new hires could be eligible for a sign-on bonus upon successful onboarding.
