Billing Specialist

This position within the accounting department will be reporting to the Assistant Controller. Qualified candidates would have at least 5 years' experience in law firm billing activities and experience using Elite’s 3E and ehub software as well as Excel. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of billing procedures for assigned attorneys, including but not limited to preparing transfers, write downs, write-offs, time entry edits, addressing rate issues, and responding to client inquiries. Heavy electronic billing, including setups, submissions, accruals, appeals, e-billing collections, and correspondence. Modify billing rates in the system, including setting up rate structures. Prepare various billing reports. Develop and maintain working relationships with billing attorneys, secretaries, and management. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; organized, detail-oriented work well alone and as a member of a team. Should be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment. Work with the accounting team to achieve monthly and annual billing objectives. Record all communications in the document management system (iManage). #J-18808-Ljbffr Syntagma Group
