Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with mental health concerns related to cancer diagnoses, using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) as a guide.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account the unique cultural, emotional, and social needs of each patient and their families.

• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness by utilizing evidence-based practices, making necessary adjustments to plans to optimize patient outcomes.

• Accurately prepare and maintain all treatment records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Facilitate collaborative care by engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic and effective care plans.

• Support patient safety and symptom management through proactive interventions and crisis management strategies.

• Provide guidance and education to trainees, students, and interns in clinical practices and supportive care, fostering a culture of learning and development.

• Engage in peer reviews and team-based clinical discussions to further enhance the skills and efficacy of the group.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
