Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your advanced education and training to develop independent psychosocial diagnoses tailored to the needs of your students.

• Collaborate with students and their families to create individualized treatment plans that focus on their specific circumstances, strengths, and goals.

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving treatment, ensuring each intervention is suited to the client’s needs.

• Coordinate with a team of school personnel, including teachers, administrators, and other mental health professionals, to provide an integrated approach to care that supports students' academic and emotional needs.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate treatment progress by tracking responses, using both in-person and virtual check-ins to adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes.

• Support clients in managing prescribed psychotropic medications by focusing on adherence, monitoring for side effects, and assessing treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents dealing with various emotional and psychological challenges. You will engage with students from diverse backgrounds, offering culturally competent and developmentally appropriate interventions. Understanding the unique needs of each child is vital, as they may be struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, or family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license to practice independently within the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical practice.
