Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs and collaborate in developing personalized treatment plans that address both emotional and practical challenges.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for a diverse range of clients including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Collaborate closely with clients and their families to set achievable mental health goals and regularly review progress to celebrate successes and adjust strategies as needed.

• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and contribute to collaborative treatment planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will be primarily focused on individuals and families dealing with the emotional toll of terminal illnesses. Understanding the complexities of hospice care will be essential as you provide emotional support and coping strategies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. You will utilize a trauma-informed lens, ensuring sensitivity and respect towards clients’ feelings and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families with a focus on diverse populations.

• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, showcasing the ability to adapt approaches based on client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
