Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental and emotional health, identifying strengths and areas that need support.

• Provide and facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient needs.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive, coordinated care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.

• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment avenues, and medications, promoting understanding and informed decision-making.

• Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities to support patient recovery.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans by working closely with your treatment team and aligning them with patient goals and preferences.

• Navigate the complexities of the mental health system on behalf of patients, ensuring they receive the necessary advocacy and support.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups, therapeutic sessions, and discharge meetings to empower patients and their families throughout their care journey.

You will work primarily with patients diagnosed with terminal illnesses, as well as their families. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
