Work Environment

This role is onsite, allowing Physical Therapists to interact directly with patients in need of rehabilitation as they recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Our flexible scheduling from Monday to Friday allows therapists the ability to choose their hours to meet both their needs and those of their patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's physical capabilities and needs in a home care environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, mobility training, hands-on techniques, and the latest therapeutic equipment to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress, adjusting treatment approaches based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on effective physical therapy methods, self-care strategies, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices through continuous learning opportunities, including workshops and membership in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists cater to a diverse patient population, including children recovering from sports injuries, adults coping with post-surgical rehabilitation, and elderly patients working to regain mobility and independence. Each therapist plays a crucial role in understanding the unique challenges and goals of their patients, thereby tailoring treatments to each individual's circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Valid New Jersey state license in Physical Therapy.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records and treatment documentation.
• Ability to be flexible and agile, adapting treatment methods to suit the varied home settings and patient needs.

Preferred Experience
