Work Environment

The work environment at Good Reps Rehab Center promotes collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development. Set in a modern outpatient office, you will interact with a diverse patient population and work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to craft effective treatment plans. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and functional abilities.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals, ensuring all therapeutic interventions are evidence-based.
• Manage an average daily caseload of 7 patients, providing individualized care and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on patient progress.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to improve strength, mobility, and overall health.
• Educate patients about their conditions and offer guidance on rehabilitation exercises, self-care strategies, and injury prevention techniques.
• Document patient progress meticulously in our electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care and facilitate communication among the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patients range in age and physical ability, presenting unique challenges that require tailored therapeutic approaches. Interacting with motivated patients allows you to play a crucial role in their rehabilitation journey, enhancing their functional outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An understanding of orthopedic assessment and treatment techniques.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure accurate documentation and communication.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits
