Work Environment

You will work directly in our well-managed outpatient office in Monroe, known for its welcoming atmosphere and structured workflows. The clinic environment is collaborative, with a focus on patient-centered care. We prioritize efficient patient flow, allowing you to maintain a balanced schedule while effectively addressing each patient's needs. Your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a predictable and stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for new patients, evaluating their physical capabilities and understanding their specific needs.
• Create individualized treatment programs that promote measurable progress in physical rehabilitation.
• Deliver direct physical therapy services which may include exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education on self-care strategies.
• Regularly track and document each patient's progress, ensuring thorough and timely updates within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Foster effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. We strive to tailor treatments that are suitable for varying age groups and activity levels, creating an inclusive environment that encourages all patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A current Physical Therapist license in New York State.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preferred qualifications being a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT).

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn and adapt is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
