Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT at Family Centered Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with couples, as well as individual sessions to delve into personal experiences and emotions.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol abuse
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief and loss
\n
• Family conflicts, including sibling tensions and cut-offs between family members
\n
• Job-related stressors
\n
• Medical issues impacting mental health
\n
• Challenges faced by blended families, including remarriage situations
\n
• Adjustment difficulties associated with separation and divorce
\n
• Parent-child conflicts, particularly mother/daughter dynamics
\n
• Communication challenges within the family unit
\n
\n
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and goals, regularly assessing and adjusting approaches as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, comprising adults and children/adolescents, each requiring tailored therapeutic strategies. Your efforts in fostering a nurturing environment will help clients confront and resolve their issues, leading toward healthier relationships and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
