Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - High Risk Fusion Medical Staffing Facility in Las Vegas, Nevada Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled High Risk OB Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) Current ARRT Certification in Sonography The High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech specializes in performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies. They ensure accurate, high-quality imaging, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide detailed findings to consulting providers while prioritizing patient education, safety, and comfort. Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
