As part of your responsibilities, you will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a detox center, overseeing intern caseloads and promoting a supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Care: Deliver individualized psychotherapy services to clients, assessing their needs and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Collaboration: Coordinate efforts with the Centralized Intake team, school contacts, and other clinical supervisors to manage intern caseloads and address any emerging concerns to ensure quality care.

• Compliance: Participate in ongoing audits and quality assurance processes to ensure all documentation meets agency policies and funding requirements, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
\n
• Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the AWARDS electronic health record system, keeping detailed and compliant records for all clients.
\n
• Consultation: Provide clinical consultations in person and via phone for crisis and non-crisis situations, responding effectively to the immediate needs of clients.
\n
• Intern Management: Manage the recruiting and onboarding processes for interns, including facilitating training sessions and ensuring compliance with educational requirements.
\n
• Professional Development: Attend agency meetings, trainings, and provide necessary reports to the Director to support overall program objectives.
\n
• Site Management: Ensure that your virtual workspace is organized and report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults, youth, and families navigating emotional and social challenges, particularly those seeking treatment at our detox center. This population may include individuals dealing with substance use disorders, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. As a vital part of our treatment team, your work will directly impact client outcomes, fostering resilience and coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other related mental health discipline is required.

• Licensure: Must hold an independently valid California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.

• Location: Candidates must currently reside in the United States and must be licensed in California.

• Telehealth Capability: Experience and ability to provide telehealth services effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in substance abuse treatment or detox settings.

• Experience supervising interns or trainees in a clinical environment.
