Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider patients' cultural backgrounds, utilizing standardized tools and personal interviews.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and collaborate with patients to set achievable mental health goals.

• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group sessions, designed to address specific mental health conditions.

• Engage in cooperative care with multidisciplinary teams, comprising psychiatrists and psychologists, to develop coordinated treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention services when needed and develop safety plans for patients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and community resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental health journey.

• Document patient progress and treatment modalities accurately in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality and respect for privacy.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training workshops to enhance skills and keep updated with therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Serving a diverse array of clients, you will work with individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• Advanced knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment models, particularly those aligned with cultural sensitivity.

• Proven ability to conduct individual and group therapy sessions using inclusive methods.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, along with a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the capability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other related technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
