Your Role on the Team

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Navigate, clean, and organize digital files and folders
• Manage multi-year data downloads
• Upload clinical case and time logs into student tracking platforms
• Manage and clean up shared inbox by routing complex inquiries to appropriate personnel and directly assisting students with routine orientation-related questions
• Process and migrate approved student compliance records and time log data across summer quarters for both DNP and Prelicensure nursing programs
• Serve as a clear, professional, and approachable administrative point of contact for nursing students seeking information and program guidance

What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

• 1 to 3 years of administrative or office support experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong detail orientation, problem-solving skills, and a process-driven approach to data entry, audits, and record updates
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the comfort and confidence to interface directly with students and department staff
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, collaborate across teams, and handle confidential student information
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English

Preferred:

• Prior administrative experience working within a university setting, nursing program, or higher education academic unit
• Exposure to clinical tracking software or higher-education databases such as eValue or Typhon, or a strong aptitude for quickly learning complex data systems
• Demonstrated ability to organize high-volume shared mailboxes and file systems efficiently

Pay Rate: $30.87/hour

Temporary Employment

This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department. Interviewing and hiring is based on internal hiring needs and how well the candidate's experience matches the assignment requirements. Certain temporary assignments may require clearance of a health physical or require a valid California Driver's License for driving university vehicles. The majority of our temporary positions are Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. We also have occasional part-time, weekend, and evening hours available, depending on the assignment.
