Position Overview Fitness Counselor The role involves actively pursuing enrollment of new members through self‑generated and company‑sponsored programs, promotions, and referrals to support potential members in achieving their fitness goals. This fast‑paced, energy‑driven position requires a lively sales approach and magnetic personality to drive new member acquisition. Responsibilities Membership Sales (Club and Individual – including services, products, programs) Manage membership billing processes and fitness sales pipeline. Provide customer service – friendly, clean, helpful, and resolve issues. Act as an information hub, offering comprehensive knowledge of products, programs, and events. Qualifications Excellent communication with members and colleagues, maintaining a customer‑service mentality. Team player willing to take on any task and get it done. Strong mathematical, analytical, and sales skills. Ability to work independently, multitask in a fast‑paced and demanding work environment. Strong attention to detail while producing accurate, high‑quality work. Available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable with technology, able to shift focus quickly, and possessing good phone etiquette. Requirements Must successfully pass a background check. Must be authorized to work in the United States. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capability to bend and squat for extended periods to access equipment and perform maintenance tasks. Compensation Hourly rate: $15.50 – $16.50 USD.
