This position operates within a unique school setting, allowing you to work closely with educators, parents, and the healthcare team to provide integrated care. As a remote worker based in Lake Stevens, Washington, you will utilize telehealth solutions and digital communication tools to connect with clients, ensuring that geographical barriers do not hinder access to critical support services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ emotional, social, and behavioral challenges and develop personalized intervention plans based on each child's unique circumstances.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to address issues such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and behavioral challenges.

• Work collaboratively with educators and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive environment that promotes student success and well-being.

• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for parents and caregivers to enhance their understanding of child development and effective parenting strategies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with regulations and organizational standards to monitor client progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Provide consultation to school staff regarding mental health best practices, ensuring a coordinated approach to student care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting children in school settings, including those from diverse backgrounds and various socio-economic conditions. You will engage with students experiencing a range of mental health challenges, and work closely with families to build resilience, fostering a supportive home environment that encourages growth and learning.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
\n
• Independently licensed in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health care, particularly in settings that work with children and families.

• Diverse cultural competence and a willingness to engage with multiple backgrounds, understanding the unique challenges faced by each family.

• Flexibility in adapting to the evolving needs of clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school-based mental health setting or working with children under the age of 12 is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or play therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
