Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the incumbent will act as the fiscal contact person for selected regions for the administration of the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program, the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant (CCLC), and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program in the Program and Fiscal Office 2. This includes answering questions related to the grant condition; coordinating all fiscal operations of grants; researching fiscal issues; and providing input to and follow-up on issues and action items requiring policy and regulation changes for the after school programs. Maintain program budgets and advise LEAs regarding proper expenditures. Identify potential grantee site problems and resolve in conjunction with unit manager and consultants. Provide technical assistance (TA) to grantees on data entry into our After School Support and Information System (ASSIST) data base system for reporting expenditures, grant attendance, and grant payments.

TELEWORK OPTION HYBRID This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible applicants residing in California. A hybrid telework schedule includes working remotely and working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Department Information
