Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year, supporting students in grades 3-5 in a structured learning support (SLS) setting. Located near West Chester, PA, this full-time position runs from 7:45AM to 4PM, offering stability and a chance to make a real impact in young learners’ lives.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (appropriate to Pennsylvania standards)
- Prior experience teaching in Special Education, particularly with SLS or similar populations
- Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
- Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to 3rd–5th graders within the SLS program
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student success
- Employ a variety of teaching methodologies and behavioral interventions
- Communicate progress effectively to families and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and federal regulations related to special education
