This full-time, contract role is based onsite, offering consistent hours—Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4PM—for a total of 35 hours per week. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2027, allowing you to develop strong connections and deliver long-term positive change.

Ideal candidates will bring a solid background in both special education and classroom management. You’ll have the chance to apply your instructional skills by designing and implementing lesson plans that align with state and district standards, using formative assessments and differentiated instruction to engage every learner.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated mastery of relevant subject matter and instructional strategies
• Experience working in schools, preferably within urban settings
• Active teaching certification or licensure suitable for the assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree required in order to obtain emergency teaching permit
• Ability to secure all necessary Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
• Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities; comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Scheduling flexibility is not available; availability during designated work hours is essential
