The role of Orthopedic Physical Therapist is conducted onsite in a vibrant rehabilitation center that is well-equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments in accordance with each patient's unique plan of care, applying advanced modalities, manual techniques, and exercise regimens.
• Guide patients through functional activities, including exercises for bed mobility, transfers, gait training, and balance, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Monitor patients' progress pre, during, and post-therapy sessions, documenting observations and reporting changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Utilize and instruct patients on the effective use of assistive devices, such as walkers and braces, to enhance their mobility and independence.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic interventions, self-care strategies, and preventive measures post-treatment to facilitate lifelong health and mobility.
• Participate in staff training sessions, mentoring newly hired staff and assisting with their integration into the practice, while contributing to collective skill development.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned to ensure comprehensive patient care and smooth departmental operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily interact with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions that affect their mobility and daily functions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic setting, showcasing your competence in treatment plans and patient care techniques.

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation center or outpatient practice.

Compensation and Benefits
