Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Senior Flex Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our innovative team in Grass Valley, California. Work Environment

You will work onsite in a collaborative environment, engaging with other healthcare professionals including physical therapy assistants (PTAs) and referring clinicians. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and resources, providing you with the tools needed to excel in your practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement hands-on therapeutic interventions that focus on enhancing mobility and reducing pain, primarily for orthopedic patients.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and wellness practices to ensure long-term health improvements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure all aspects of a patient's health are addressed, including communicating effectively with healthcare providers and specialists.
• Utilize our electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with orthopedic patients including post-operative rehabilitation cases, individuals recovering from fractures, strains, and sports injuries, as well as those requiring preventative care. By utilizing evidence-based practices and patient-centered strategies, you will help clients regain their independence and improve their physical well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapist License required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program; DPT or MPT is preferred.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning and communication skills are essential to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• A compassionate demeanor, demonstrating patience and enthusiasm in patient care is essential.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
