Kitchen Supervisor

The Assistant Kitchen Manager supports the Kitchen and ownership in maintaining an efficient, organized, and high-quality kitchen operation. This role is hands-on and requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Run and oversee the kitchen line during service, ensuring food is prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently.
• Support daily kitchen operations, including prep, organization, and execution of menu items.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor product usage, and communicate ordering needs.

• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and waste control.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment throughout the day.

• Uphold and manage the kitchen’s cleaning and maintenance schedule.

• Identify and report equipment or facility maintenance issues promptly.

• Train and support kitchen staff in proper procedures, recipes, food safety, cleanliness, and service standards.

• Help maintain I Knead Coffee’s standards for food quality, portioning, presentation, and speed of service.
