This role is primarily remote and involves working within our Community Health Clinic. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify clients' unique challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating their goals, cultural backgrounds, and specific needs into the therapeutic process.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), in various formats such as individual, couple, family, and group settings.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and stabilization while ensuring continuity of care through collaboration with other healthcare providers and community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, equipping them with practical skills to manage their wellbeing effectively.

• Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, leveraging the expertise of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Participate in ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness, using regular assessments to adapt treatment plans as necessary for optimal client outcomes.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health, applying this knowledge to enhance clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Proficiency in working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in community health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
