Business Development Associate
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Business Development Associate to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $90,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts to support revenue growth and business development objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals presentations and service recommendations that align with client needs.
- Coordinate with operational and customer support teams to ensure successful project execution and a positive client experience.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records pipeline updates and business development reporting within company systems.
- Attend industry events networking functions and professional meetings to expand market presence and generate new opportunities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor degree in business science or a related field.
- 3+ years of technical sales business development or account management experience.
- Demonstrate experience supporting clients in regulated technical environmental or laboratory related industries.
- Possess the ability to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate service solutions.
- Maintain proficiency with customer relationship management systems Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting tools.

- Apply strong communication and presentation skills when interacting with clients prospects and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a results driven approach with the ability to achieve revenue growth and account development goals.
- Build collaborative relationships across departments to support client satisfaction and operational success.
- Maintain excellent organizational skills while managing multiple projects priorities and deadlines.
- Bring strong networking problem solving and customer service abilities that support long term business relationships.
