Quick Facts Location: 5000 Kentucky 321, Prestonsburg, KY 41653 Start Date: 04/27/2026 End Date: 04/26/2027 Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Day shift, no call Hours/week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract (12 months) License/Certifications: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Experience: Recent patient-facing experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $479.70 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consulting and treatment Support low-volume clinic with approximately 15 patients per day Collaborate with APP support staff and a team of 3 physicians at the site Manage patient care independently in a solo provider setting Document patient encounters using Meditech EMR system Contribute to department efforts supporting 60/40 Hem/Onc workload balance Maintain compliance with all relevant clinical guidelines and protocols What You Need Current Kentucky medical license and board certification in Hematology/Oncology Recent experience in outpatient or clinic setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic provides personalized, quality care for patients in a supportive environment. The provider will be supported by APP staff and collaborate closely with other physicians to deliver consistent, compassionate care within a well-established practice setting.
