This role is conducted in a supportive remote setting that allows for flexibility and work-life balance. Our virtual community health clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring structured hours that promote a healthy work schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions such as MBSR to clients seeking relief from stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing treatment plans accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques, fostering increased self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness techniques, resilience-building strategies, and effective stress management.

• Integrate mindfulness practices into individualized therapy sessions to address specific mental health needs and enhance overall treatment efficacy.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client care.

• Document all aspects of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment strategies accurately to maintain compliance with standards and support continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness practices and their application in therapeutic settings.
