Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily activities can include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions via video conferencing that focus on the unique needs and goals of clients.

• Implementing and adapting therapeutic techniques as per the treatment plan while continuously monitoring client progress.

• Providing meticulous documentation through a reliable electronic health records system, ensuring that progress notes are documented accurately and promptly by the end of each session.

• Engaging with clients’ families as appropriate, facilitating family orientation sessions to educate and support them in the therapeutic process.

• Proactively advocating for the necessary services and interventions for your assigned clients, addressing immediate needs while maintaining a vigilant approach to any behavioral changes.

• Managing and de-escalating crises through well-established protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency in the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Familiarity and competence in using electronic health record systems for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with experience in marriage and family therapy and a background in serving diverse populations—including children and adolescents—will be given preference. Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care will also be valuable in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
