Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and joint therapy sessions with clients, focusing on couples and family dynamics.

• Facilitating discussions to improve communication among family members and identify underlying conflicts.
\n
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address each client’s unique issues, including but not limited to grief, relationship conflicts, and job-related stress.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic models to guide sessions and track progress towards therapeutic goals.

• Implementing techniques that help clients navigate major life changes such as divorce, remarriage, or family restructuring.

• Collaborating with other health professionals when necessary to provide comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintaining accurate and timely case notes and documentation in alignment with organizational policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults and the child/adolescent populations, dealing with a range of challenges including:

• Physical and psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss.
\n
• Family conflict, including sibling rivalry and parent-child relationship issues.

• Life transitions such as separation and divorce.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
