Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized in-home therapy sessions or facilitate group therapy sessions at our outpatient center, adapting to the unique needs of each client.

• Implement therapeutic interventions focusing on anger management, social skills development, and coping strategies to mitigate high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious actions or aggression.

• Assist clients in improving decision-making abilities and managing behavioral challenges within their home environments.
\n
• Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and other multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated care that maximizes client support.
\n
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to established timelines.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings to offer insights and share recommendations for improving therapy processes and client intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Watertown Regional Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, youth, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. This role emphasizes a holistic, strengths-based approach, promoting wellness by assisting clients in recognizing and building upon their inherent strengths rather than solely focusing on their difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.

• A valid and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours weekly during after-school hours, specifically from 4 PM to 7 PM.

• A current driver’s license with access to a registered vehicle for client visits.
\n
• A clean criminal background check, including fingerprint clearance, is required prior to employment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in providing positive behavioral support and therapeutic services.

• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to holistic care planning and execution.

• Familiarity with psychological assessment methods and treatment planning designed for diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and availability of caseload. Additional benefits include:
