Work Environment\n

This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still maintaining a close connection with our dedicated team. As an outpatient facility, our clinic prioritizes creating a supportive and family-centered approach through therapy. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity and duration of mood disorders in clients, establishing a baseline for treatment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and preferences.

• Utilize recognized therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in the healing process.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adapting treatment plans based on the evolving needs of clients.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care.

• Stay informed about new research and developments in mood disorder treatment, applying this knowledge to improve therapeutic techniques.

• Ensure accurate documentation and confidentiality of client information in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Act as an advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma and promoting equitable access to services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on counseling for individuals and families navigating relational challenges, particularly those related to divorce and interpersonal conflict. You will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples, emphasizing holistic healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to create a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance by employing strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit empathy, sensitivity, and a nonjudgmental approach to clients’ experiences and challenges.
